“Session has an obvious West Coast sound reminiscent of Sublime along with 311 and hip-hop elements, but also incorporates a louder, grittier East Coast sensibility”
-Bernard Vaughn, Hippo Press
It's your standard story: drummer and guitarist from different high schools meet online and start a band; guitarist then moves to California and meets a singer; the two head back to New Hampshire to start a new band with former drummer and drummer's cousin, who just moved up from Alabama. Okay, so there's nothing typical about the way Session started and Session definitely is not your typical, four-chord rock band!
Since February 2003, Session has been writing head-nodding tunes and stirring up clubs and colleges throughout NH and MA while sharing the stage with a broad range of artists; from the soulful Java recording artist Toby Lightman, to Josh Todd of Buckcherry. With a versatile sound and incredible persona, Session has impressed audiences of all demographics and musical preferences.
The exceptional creation of this band and the background of each member is a unique characteristic, which sets Session apart from others. The band has essentially gone through a four-year screening process leaving a group of the most driven and dedicated individuals. Session pride themselves on their ear-catching music, incredible stage presence and the overall great personality of the group. |
